Young Ajax off to roaring start in Ennepetal

The Urban Warriors got their quest for SPAX-Cup glory off to a roaring start in Ennepetal, Germany on Saturday afternoon.

Young Ajax beat hosts TuS Ennepetal 6-0 in the final game of the day to send a clear message to their rivals ahead of a Sunday’s action.

Lassina Traore scored a brace and set up two more in an emphatic display by Duncan Crowie’s troops. Kegan Johannes, Dante Brown, Zaakir Allie and Aden Philander also got their names on the score-sheet.

Hamburger SV next lie in wait for Young Ajax at 12h30 CAT this midday before a clash against English club side Middlesbrough FC at 17h00 CAT. The knockout stages will commence and culminate on Monday.
