Leader, Legend, Lebusa – thank you Mosa!

Ajax Cape Town can officially confirm that Mosa Lebusa has joined Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the 2018-19 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

The 25-year-old joined the Urban Warriors in 2009; making his First Team debut for the club against SuperSport United in a league fixture on the 10th of August 2012.

Lebusa would go on to make well over 100 appearances for the club, scoring crucial goals along the way, including three in what would be his last three appearances for the club last season.

He made 29 appearances for the club last season, a campaign in which he donned the captain’s armband throughout.

“Mosa has established himself as one of, if not the best left back’s in the country,” said CEO Ari Efstathiou on Friday.

“He is an example to each and every youth player at the club and we wish him all the best at Mamelodi Sundowns.”
