Spurs sign Angolan striker ‘Chico’

Cape Town Spurs is excited to announce the signing of Angolan centre-forward Diassonama ‘Chico’ Francisco Panzo Bunga.

“I feel welcomed here”, ‘Chico’ said in an interview with the club. The 29-year-old went on to say that he feels grateful for the opportunity given to him to play for the Urban Warriors.

“This is an opportunity for me to open new doors for me and my family”.

The striker boasts skillful attributes that Cape Town Spurs have been searching for, to add to the already strong attacking options at head coach Dylan Deane’s disposal.

Before arriving in the Mother City, ‘Chico’ played at the highest level in Angola where he most recently donned the colours of top division club Sagrada – helping them to the Girabola title last season.

‘Chico’ is the clubs eighth signing of the current transfer window following the acquisition of Jarrod Moroole, Colin Ryan, Moisés Pedro Amor, Bevan Fransman, Gregory Damons, Eyona Ndondo and Reggy Zondi.
