Daniels: “The club has certain standards”

Cape Town Spurs defender Clayton Daniels has said that the Urban Warriors will continue to push in ‘one direction’ should challenges present itself. 

Spurs suffered a 1-0 defeat against Casric Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship on Tuesday afternoon, as the Urban Warriors currently occupy 6th spot on the log.

The loss came after a three match winning streak in all competitions, however, Daniels previously mentioned that the club will strive to stick together should difficulties arise.

“I hope that when the challenges come, we will stick together,” Daniels said.

“I hope that we all pull in the same direction. So far, the club has certain principles, certain standards of how things need to be done to make it easier for us.

“We are very happy as players that they’re taking care of us and that we can keep on focusing on the results and trying to win promotion this year.” 

“We are in a good process.”
