Club Statement: Our goal is still in our hands

Following an end to the regular 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign, Cape Town Spurs will now feature in the upcoming PSL promotion play-offs.

The Urban Warriors recorded a 1-1 stalemate with the University of Pretoria in the final league match of the season, securing a second place finish on the log.

With the play-offs on the horizon, club CEO Alexi Efstathiou expressed his belief in the team through a season full of twists and turns.

“We are disappointed. We will pick ourselves up, regroup and move on,” Efstathiou said.

“Our goal is still in our hands. It’s been a season with twists and turns, this is just another one. 

“We believe in our team and we know they will fight till the end .”
