Cape Town Spurs face defeat in Gqeberha
Cape Town Spurs were beaten 2-0 by Chippa United in the DStv Premiership at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The team would’ve hoped to pick back up on the good run of form that took place from February to March, but it was not to be in Gqeberha.
The goals from the Chilli Boys were scored by Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Kayden Francis in the first and second half respectively.
Spurs remain hopeful to move on and grab a more positive result in their next match in the league, where they will take on Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 6 April.
