Spurs shift focus to Sekhukhune clash
Cape Town Spurs will now give their attention to their next DStv Premiership, when they face Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening, April 20. Kick-off is at 17h00 pm.
The Urban Warriors are without a win in their last three games and will continue their mission to finish in 15th place, which is the relegation play-off spot.
Head coach Ernst Middendorp has made it incredibly clear that he is focused on more realistic outcomes, especially after the team went on a great run of form after the AFCON break.
Middendorp has said that the run of results will not be linear, as there are a lot of young players in the squad and a lot of changes have been made to the team.
He also added that it is expected that the team will go on a run and win a few games, and then go on to lose a few in a row.
There’s a few home games left and the goal is to focus on getting as many points as possible until the last day of the season.
