Get to know Asanele Velebayi

In a recent interview with Cape Town Spurs media, fans got the chance to ask Asanele Velebayi a few questions in the comments section to get to know him better. 

Speaking about the values about being a part of the Urban Warriors, Velebayi said that the professionalism at the club is something that stands out.

“How the youngsters are given a chance at an early age to prove themselves on a professional level,” he added.

The midfielder noted that Liverpool is a Premier League club that he’d love to play for and named one of his role models as Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Velebayi was recently involved in the COSAFA Cup representing Bafana Bafana and was a key part of Cape Town Spurs’ DStv Premiership campaign last season, scoring one goal.
