Spurs Share Points with Ikapa in Hard-Fought Draw

Cape Town Spurs earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Ikapa Sporting in an action-packed ABC Motsepe League Stream A encounter at Solo Street on October 16.

Building on the momentum of their impressive 6-0 thrashing of Ubuntu FC, Roger De Sa’s side showed plenty of grit to secure a point on the road.

The result keeps the Urban Warriors in ninth place in the table, having gathered seven points from their opening six fixtures of the campaign.

Spurs currently trail league leaders FN Rangers by seven points as the race for the top spot heats up in Stream A.

Although the Urban Warriors showed strong attacking intent away from home, defensive lapses ultimately prevented them from taking all three points back to Parow.

All eyes now shift to a high-stakes local derby against long-time rivals Santos FC on October 24 at Ikamva, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00.
