Spurs Extend Unbeaten Run with Point in Local Derby

Cape Town Spurs shared the points with long-time rivals Santos FC in a hard-fought local derby at Ikamva, extending their unbeaten start to the ABC Motsepe League Stream A campaign.

Building on the resilience shown in recent outings, Roger De Sa’s side continued to demonstrate character in a fiercely contested encounter against familiar opponents, securing another valuable point at home over the weekend.

The result leaves the Urban Warriors eighth in the standings with eight points from seven fixtures (one win and five draws) and a goal difference of +2.

Spurs trail league leaders FN Rangers by nine points as the race for the top spot continues in Stream A.

Although the Urban Warriors showed determination and attacking threat in the derby, they will look to sharpen their edge ahead of a sterner test.

All eyes now turn to a top-of-the-table clash against log leaders FN Rangers on October 31 at Maitland Sports Ground, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
