Urban Warriors lose out against SSU
Despite a spirited effort by Cape Town Spurs, the Urban Warriors suffered a 2-1 defeat against SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday night.
After a rapid start to the game, Therlo Moosa managed to break the deadlock after five minutes played. Picked out by Chumani Butsaka inside the penalty area, Moosa made no mistake with a headed goal from close range.
The Urban Warriors continued to play with energy going forward as they took the game to the travelling outfit. Nonetheless, a brace by Bradley Grobler saw SuperSport get the victory on the night.
Heading into a break, Cape Town Spurs will face Stellenbosch FC in their next encounter, which will be played on the 28th of October at Athlone Stadium.
