Spurs Stretch Unbeaten Run At Leaders Rangers

Cape Town Spurs earned a hard-fought point away to league leaders FN Rangers in the ABC Motsepe League Stream A, keeping a clean sheet and stretching their unbeaten run.

Captain and defender Nazeer Allie marshalled the backline under coach Roger de Sa as the Urban Warriors secured their third successive draw.

The 0-0 draw at the Royal Road Sports Field highlights the resilience that has defined the Urban Warriors’ campaign so far.

With eight matches played, Spurs sit seventh on nine points (one win, six draws, one loss) and a goal difference of +2.

The Urban Warriors trail FN Rangers, who remain top on 18 points after five wins and three draws, while Hanover Park FC (16 points) and Young Bafana (15) occupy the other promotion-chasing spots.

All eyes now turn to a home fixture against Harambee Stars at Ikamva on November 7 as Spurs look to build on their solid defensive form and push higher up the table.
