Urban Warriors suffer defeat against Richards Bay FC
Following an unsuccessful trip to the King Zwelithini Stadium this week, Cape Town Spurs suffered a narrow 1-0 loss against Richards Bay in the DStv Premiership on Sunday.
Despite a valiant effort from the lads, Thato Mohlamme’s effort in the 71st minute separated the two teams on the pitch.
The Urban Warriors showed great determination in search of an equalizer and were eventually awarded a penalty in the 94th minute of the match.
With Therlo Moosa stepping up to the spot, the attacker came agonisingly close to drawing level in added time with his effort striking the upright.
