Urban Warriors suffer defeat against Stellies

After an unfortunate outing at the DHL Stadium, Stellenbosch FC recorded a
3-0 win over Cape Town Spurs in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday night.

The Urban Warriors started the game on the front foot and created a couple
of notable goal scoring opportunities inside the first five minutes of the
match.

Luvuyo Phewa and Rushwin Dortley came close to opening the scoring at the
start of the game but were unable to convert the chances going forward.

However, Stellenbosch took the lead in the 8th minute of the encounter, as
Iqraam Rayners opened scoring.

Despite a positive start to the subsequent 45, Jayden Adams and Darrel
Matsheke rounded off the scoring to record a 3-0 win at the DHL Stadium.
