Dreyer bids goodbye to Spurs
Cape Town Spurs product Aden Dreyer has expressed his gratitude to the club as he bids goodbye to the Ikamva-based side.
The goalkeeper was nurtured in the Urban Warriors’ academy and he signed his first professional contract in March 2021 after being promoted to the first team.
Dreyer, who has represented South Africa at under-17 and under-20 levels, has agreed to part ways with Spurs amicably.
“Hello Spurs family, I have received an opportunity for my future in football and I have come to an agreement with Spurs,” the 22-year-old said.
“We have mutually agreed to part ways. For that, I will be eternally grateful that they understand my situation and that I need to grow.
“And I will just be grateful for my teammates and all the coaches for believing in me.”
We, the family of Cape Town Spurs FC, wish Aden Dreyer much success on his footballing journey beyond the gates of Ikamva!
All the best, Aden!
