Spurs receive stunning new kit 

Cape Town Spurs were handed a brand-new, stunning kit ahead of this weekend’s Coca-Cola Amateur Cup finals. 

The Urban Warriors will don the red and white colours as they take to the field on Saturday, in the under-18 tournament final against Everton FC. 

SAFA Cape Town handed over the kits along with the tournament sponsors, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages.

“Ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated finals of the Coca-Cola Amateur Cup, the last six teams were hosted at Heart FM Studios last night for a special kit handover ceremony,” a Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages statement read. 

“Now in its 30th year, the Coca-Cola Amateur Cup proudly presented by Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (CCPB) in partnership with SAFA Cape Town and Heart FM, continues to unite communities through the power of football. 

“From humble beginnings with fewer than 20 teams to a record 500+ teams this year, the tournament has grown into a true celebration of community. CCPB has proudly supported this legacy for the past 30 years, creating opportunities, building talent, and uplifting our communities through the beautiful game. Let’s pack the stands and cheer on Cape Town’s rising stars.”

Spurs and Everton are set to meet at the 2010 FIFA World Cup training venue, Athlone Stadium, on October 18. 

Kick-off is at 13h00 SA Time.
