Bounce-Back Mission: Spurs Host Rangers

Cape Town Spurs are determined to return to winning ways in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A on Saturday.

The Urban Warriors will host FN Rangers at Ikamva in their matchday 11 fixture, with kick-off set for 14:00.

Under coach Nasief Morris, the Spurs head into the game eager to bounce back from a 4-1 loss away to Hout Bay United Football Community (HBUFC) last weekend.

That loss snapped their four-match unbeaten streak and Spurs are currently positioned in sixth place in Stream A, having gathered 15 points from 10 matches.

A victory against Rangers could lift Spurs as high as fourth in the standings, depending on other results around them.

However, Rangers arrive equally motivated after a 2-0 loss to Hanover Park at the Royal Road Sports field last weekend.

They sit in third position on the table, boasting 19 points from nine matches and demonstrating strong form in both defence and attack recently.

This Saturday’s clash represents the first-ever competitive encounter between Spurs and Rangers.
