It’s times like this when you discover the difference between fans & supporters.

Ajax Cape Town have experienced one of our toughest times in our twenty year history.

This is what the first team manager, Shooz Mekuto had to say;

“This league is for the tough baba! The teams & players are hungry for PSL, their hunger to play in the top league in South Africa makes a very dangerous opposition. It’s times like this you discover the difference between fans & supporters, anyone can be a fan of a club but to be a supporter requires time, money and heart break. Our supporters have shown their true colours in our toughest times.”

During this time:

• Ajax supporters created their own supporters team. The team plays friendlies against other fans and other club supporter teams.
• One of our long standing Ajax Cape Town supporters passed away, Mr Desmond Bowmon.
• We have celebrated some important supporter birthdays, Paul Giess & Mr Roos.
• The fan shop has seen some of the highest sales in our history.
• The home & derby atmosphere is unbelievable.
