Spurs honour loyal kit manager Albert Hendricks with 2020/21 jersey

Cape Town Spurs are delighted to honour long serving kit manager Albert Hendricks with their home and away jerseys for the 2020/2021 GladAfrica Championship season.

Hendricks has served as kit man for both Cape Town Spurs and later Ajax Cape Town since 1984 and has dedicated his life to the beautiful game, in particular to footballers in the Mother City.

“I take pride in my work as the kit man, there is no greater honour,” said Hendricks who has watched some of South Africa’s most talented footballers grow up in front of his eyes over the last four decades.

Cape Town Spurs CEO Alexi Efstathiou added: “There was no better opportunity to honour ‘Mr A’. With the relaunch of the Cape Town Spurs brand, the moment to thank Mr A, not only from the management and staff, but equally so from our fans, was this moment.

“For his dedication, service and passion to us, we all dedicate this edition of our jersey to him. The Albert Hendricks edition.”
