Urban Warriors jump into 3rd spot

Looking up on the Motsepe Foundation Championship table, Cape Town Spurs have moved into 3rd place on the log, following a confident 2-0 win over All Stars at the Athlone Stadium on Monday afternoon. 

After victories against Magesi and Uthongathi, the Urban Warriors made it three home wins on the spin, maintaining the pace set by Polokwane City and Casric Stars at the top of the table. 

Goals from Ashley Cupido and Boitumelo Radiopane was enough for Spurs to record maximum points on home soil, as the Athlone Stadium continues to be a fortress for the Urban Warriors.

Bartlett and company will now shift their attention to Polokwane City, with the all-important league fixture set to take place on the 4th of February, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
