Cape Town Spurs CEO Alexi Efstathiou has urged all Urban Warriors to showcase their full support ahead of the final Motsepe Foundation Championship clash against University of Pretoria on Sunday.

The Urban Warriors are one win away from securing a place in the PSL for next season and currently top the Motsepe Foundation Championship after 29 matches played.

As Spurs host AmaTuks at Athlone Stadium on Sunday, Efstathiou has urged all Urban Warriors supporters to fill Athlone Stadium this coming weekend.

“It’s obviously a big game for us on Sunday, important in the history of CT Spurs,” Efstathiou said.

“Much has happened over the past few years, with many challenges facing the club. However, we have persevered up to this point and stayed true to our values.

“Sunday will be a culmination of all these years, in 90 minutes of football.

“We urge those who love football in Cape Town, to put on their red and white, and be there at 3pm to push our team past the winning post!”
