Bartlett: We’ve got a lot of work to do

Cape Town Spurs coach Shaun Bartlett believes that it’s too early to push panic buttons, despite a slow start to the 2023/24 DStv Premiership campaign.

The Urban Warriors head into the international break on the back of a 3-1 loss to Moroka Swallows in the league, with the club yet to register a victory upon returning to the PSL.

According to Bartlett, much work is needed to be done to gather positive results as the season progresses.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” Bartlett said.

“From all aspects, whether it be coaches, players or from senior management. We need to work together to find that solution and turn the season around.

“If you say its panic stations, I think it’s too early, there’s a lot of games to be played but at the end of the day, the points are getting less.”
