The Urban Warriors bag major victory over Pirates

Following a frustrating start to the season, Cape Town Spurs recorded their first victory in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday night, after an impressive 2-1 win over Orlando Pirates at the DHL Stadium.

The Urban Warriors looked a much-improved outfit against a star-studded Pirates side this week, as two first-half efforts by Lubeni Haukongo and Jarrod Moroole was enough for the lads to earn their first points of the season.

 While the Urban Warriors looked decisive going forward, veteran defender Clayton Daniels led a valiant defensive effort throughout the 90 minutes.

In capping off a successful game on a personal note, Keagan Buchanan was crowned the DStv Premiership Man of the Match following his sparkling display in the middle of the park.
