Buchanan rallies the Urban Warriors

After a Man of the Match deserving performance against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday, midfielder Keagan Buchanan has urged his fellow Urban Warriors to fight until the end of the season.

In bagging our first points of the 2023/24 campaign, the Urban Warriors recorded an impressive 2-1 win over a star-studded Orlando Pirates in the DStv Premiership earlier this week,

Two first-half efforts by Lubeni Haukongo and Jarrod Moroole was enough for the lads to secure maximum points at the DHL Stadium, which set off jubilant scenes after the final whistle.

Speaking after the match, Buchanan mentioned that having a positive mindset will be needed to survive in the DStv Premiership.

“For us, that’s been here for years, it’s to encourage the younger ones and try to make it easy because I mean, coming into the league, it’s not a nice way, you come in and you lose eight games,” Buchanan said.

“So we need to put in that mindset that they are good enough and that we can go on survive.”
