Urban Warriors suffer defeat against Downs at Loftus
After an unsuccessful trip to Loftus Versfeld this week, Cape Town Spurs suffered a 3-0 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday night.
Despite a hard-fought effort from the Urban Warriors, goals by Sipho Mbule, Grant Kekana and Peter Shalulile were enough for the home side to bag maximum points in Pretoria.
As it stands, Spurs remain in 16th place on the log after matchday 14.
The Urban Warriors will now shift their attention to AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership, with the tie against Usuthu set to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday, the 22nd of December. (Kick-off is at 7:30pm)
