Urban Warriors lock horns with SuperSport United

Cape Town Spurs’ next game in the DStv Premiership will see the team go up against SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday evening. Kick-off is at 19h30 CAT.

Spurs are coming off the back of a morale boosting victory against Royal AM, a game which saw Gadiel Michael Kamagi ensuring the team walked away with three points courtesy of his composed penalty kick.

The odds of relegation from the DStv Premiership are still highly expected, but there’s still a bit of hope for the players to finish off the season strong, regardless of the outcome. Coach Ernst Middendorp also shares those same sentiments.

“Feel free, have fun, enjoy it and show the energy we have seen today – and just be prepared to optimise the individual skills that they have, while contributing to the collective cause – that’s the most important stuff,” he said ahead of the clash with SuperSport.

“Hopefully, we can make it on Friday. We prepared ourselves to the maximum and let’s see what we can take out.”
