Urban Warriors bag single point on the road
Following a tough encounter on the road this week, Cape Town Spurs recorded a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership at the Mpumalanga Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Urban Warriors looked lively during the first 15 minutes of the game and created a couple of goal scoring opportunities in the process.
Asanele Velebayi, Therlo Moosa and Chumani Butsaka often put the hosts under pressure during the first half and eventually took the lead in the 32nd minute.
Linking up with Velebayi, Moosa gave the Urban Warriors a well deserved lead with a well taken effort inside the box.
Spurs dominated the ball possession count for large parts of the second-half, however, Ryan Moon’s effort in the 84th minute saw both side’s walk away with a point in Mpumalanga.
