Spurs turn attention to Nedbank Cup clash with SSU

Cape Town Spurs will be travelling to the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville, Pretoria to face SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup on Wednesday evening.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The Urban Warriors advanced to the Round of 16 of the tournament following a 3-1 win against Venda Football Club on 25 January.

Currently placed 15th in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, this next fixture gives the team the opportunity to push for domestic silverware and find a return to form.

The team’s last match was a 3-0 defeat against Black Leopards in the MFC, and now going up against a Betway Premiership side, Spurs will need to bring their A-game to possibly advance to the quarter-finals.
