Spurs target back-to-back wins at Young Bafana

Cape Town Spurs will face off with Young Bafana in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A match on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15h00.

The matchday two fixture is scheduled to take place at the Young Bafana Soccer Academy grounds in Broadlands, Cape Town.

The Urban Warriors got off to a winning start in the local third-tier when they claimed a 3-1 win over Zizwe United at Ikamva last weekend.

Goals from Azola Jakalashe (brace) and Eyona Ndondo earned Spurs the victory, which sees the team placed at the top of Stream A standings.

Another victory for coach Nasief Morris’ side against Bafana would see the Ikamva side maintain a 100 per cent win record.

Meanwhile, Bafana started their campaign with a draw against Vasco Da Gama, picking up a point on the road last weekend.

The two teams drew 2-2 at Parow Park, where Bafana saw their 2-1 lead slip as Vasco scored to ensure that the match ended in a stalemate.

Nicknamed YB, Bafana are under the guidance of coach Siza Gola, who has coached Santos and Police FC in the Western Cape.

This will be the first-ever league meeting between Spurs and Bafana.
