Spurs drop points at Young Bafana

Cape Town Spurs dropped points for the first time in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A season.

The Urban Warriors were beaten 2-0 by Young Bafana in a matchday two encounter played at the Young Bafana Arena on Saturday afternoon.

A goal in each half earned Bafana their first victory of the season, with Sebastian Lucas and Shamil Paul scoring for the home side.

Spurs, on the other hand, have three points from their first two matches in the ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A.

The Urban Warriors started the season by claiming a 3-1 win over Zizwe United at home and the team will be looking to turn Ikamva into a fortress. 

Coach Nasief Morris and his charges have turned their attention to their upcoming fixture, which is against Ubuntu Football Club.

The match is scheduled to be played at Ikamva on Saturday and kick-off is at 14h00.
