Spurs look to end 2025 on winning note

Cape Town Spurs will play host to Seapoint Swift (Hope FC) in the 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League Western Cape Stream A match on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 14h00.  

The matchday five fixture is scheduled to take place at Spurs’ state-of-the-art home, Ikamva, as the Urban Warriors look to end the year 2025 on a winning note.

Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw by a stubborn Seaside Spurs side at the Ocean View Sports Complex in a matchday four fixture on Friday, December 5.

Coach Nasief Morris’ side are placed sixth in Stream A standings, having accumulated five points from four matches in the local third tier.

A win for the Urban Warriors against Swift would see them maintain their unbeaten home record and also bounce back to winning ways.

Meanwhile, Swifts dropped points for the second time this season when they drew 2-2 with Ubuntu Football Club at home on Saturday, December 6. 

Hope are placed third in Stream A standings, having also accumulated seven points from four matches, including two victories and one defeat.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Cape Town Spurs and Seapoint Swift (Hope FC).
