Dos Santos reflects on opening phase of 2017-18 1st Touch Programme

Following weeks of endless scouting across the Western Cape region, the first phase of the 2017-18 1st Touch Programme reached it’s conclusion as the build-up to the club’s annual Ikamva Challenge continues.

Head of Scouts at Ajax Cape Town, Sergio dos Santos and his scouting team, watched 1000’s of Under-12 hopefuls over the past couple of months with the Urban Warriors having hosted trials in 10 different areas: Langa, Belhar, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, Lingelethu Site C, Mitchells Plain, Athlone, Mfuleni, Philippi and Wynberg.
