Urban Warriors celebrate Mandela Day
In honour of Nelson Mandela’s legacy, Ajax Cape Town this week welcomed 125 children from 10 different locations across Cape Town to Ikamva, for a coaching clinic and life skills programme.
The Urban Warriors Community Scheme Team conducted a training session with the children, while also highlighting the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
The children were then treated to lunch and each handed an Ajax Cape Town goodie bag to remember the day by. The club remains committed to inspiring the lives of Cape Town’s youth by incorporating sport and education.
Madiba believed that sport has the power to unite and change lives. This echoes our sentiments as we continue our work in empowering our communities on a daily basis.
