Urban Warriors rocked by triple injury blow
Ajax Cape Town were rocked by a triple injury blow during the international break this month.
The trio of Raymond Monama, Tamsanqa Teyise and Tashreeq Morris played no part in the club’s 1-0 defeat away to TS Sporting in the National First Division (NFD) this past weekend.

It has since been confirmed that both Monama and Teyise face a lengthy spell on the sidelines with the news coming as a major blow for the club a few weeks into the duo’s time at Ikamva.
Urban Warriors Physiotherapist Rayno Rayepen has confirmed that Raymond is set undergo surgery in this week following a meniscus tear in his left knee.
Furthermore, Tamsanqa has a syndesmosis injury and will be out of action for six weeks. The defender will undergo further evaluation next week.
Lastly, Tashreeq has sustained a bone injury of the left lateral calcaneal bone. He will undergo further assessment later this week.
