Morris, Teyise boost for the Urban Warriors
Ajax Cape Town have been boosted by Tashreeq Morris’ return to full training ahead of this weekend’s National First Division (NFD) clash against Ubuntu at Cape Town Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15h30 and tickets are on sale at Computicket.
Urban Warriors defender Tamsanqa Teyise is also nearing a return to action while Raymond Monama continues his recovery, having undergone knee surgery last month.
Ajax Cape Town Physiotherapist Rayno Rayepen:
On Morris: “We are currently happy with the progress he has made thus far and he is back in full training.”
On Teyise: “He has progressed well and has commenced with his return to training protocol. We will have to monitor his progress throughout this time.”
On Monama: “Raymond is currently four weeks post-op. It is still the early stages in his healing process.”
