Spurs aim to end 2021 on a high

Cape Town Spurs will be eager to end the year on a high with victory over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a 2021/22 GladAfrica Championship match at Athlone Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 15h30 CAT.

The Urban Warriors are unbeaten in four league matches following a 0-0 draw away to Hungry Lions in Kimberley last weekend. A run which was ignited with a 4-0 victory over TTM in the Limpopo province last month.

Since then, TTM have won two and lost one (1-0 versus Richards Bay FC) and as a result, go into the final weekend of GladAfrica Championship action for the year two points ahead of Spurs on the league standings.

Spurs have only lost one of their last seven home matches, winning twice and drawing the other four.

Sunday’s match will be both club’s final game of 2021 before a two-month break.
