Spurs bid farewell to Mosiatlhaga

Cape Town Spurs can confirm that Abednigo Mosiatlhaga has left the club to sign for DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United.

The 27-year-old winger brings to an end a three-year stay at Ikamva, having joined the Urban Warriors from Bidvest Wits in July 2019.

Mosiatlhaga enjoyed a stellar debut season for Spurs, lighting up the GladAfrica Championship with 18 goals to finish as the top scorer in the league for 2019/20.

He went on to make 74 appearances across all competitions for the first team, scoring 27 goals in the process.

Fans got to see Mosiatlhaga for the last time when he came on as a 60th-minute substitute for Toriq Losper in the 2-2 draw with University of Pretoria at Athlone Stadium on May 8.

We’ll no doubt miss his goals and exciting displays. Thank you for the memories, Urban Warrior.
