Urban Warriors bring in Etafia

Cape Town Spurs would like to extend a warm welcome to Kevin Etafia as the latest addition to the first-team squad ahead of the new season.

The 22-year-old defender, who is the son of former Swallows goalkeeper Greg Etafia, joins a whole host of new faces at Spurs in preparation for our assault on the National First Division title.

Etafia came up through the youth ranks at Bidvest Wits and then Highlands Park before impressing for TS Galaxy, where he captained their Under-19 team to glory in the 2019 Bayhill Premier Cup.

The Nigerian youngster was also on the books of Pretoria Callies and he trained with Cape Town City earlier this year.

He becomes the 14th off-season arrival at Ikamva and will provide competition for the likes of Jairo Da Silva, Bevan Fransman, Rushwin Dortley, Junior Sibande and Clayton Daniels in the heart of defence.
