The Urban Warriors to meet Babina Noko in Nedbank Cup

Cape Town Spurs have been drawn to face Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16, with the Urban Warriors scheduled to play as the away side. 

Coach Shaun Bartlett and company will travel to Gauteng for their next Nedbank Cup tie, in what will be one of the club’s toughest tasks this season. 

The Urban Warriors faced fellow Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka in the Round of 32, recording an emphatic 3-0 victory at the Athlone Stadium. 

Described as ‘total domination’ by Man of the Match winner Morne Nel, goals by Therlo Moosa, Chumani Butsaka and Collin Ryan ensured the club’s ticket in their next round of the popular tournament. 

As for Sekhukhune, Brandon Truter’s side reached the Round of 16 following a 6-0 win over SAB League outfit, Liver Brothers.
