On the road – Spurs’ remaining away ties

While Cape Town Spurs have been superb at home this season, the Urban Warriors face three crucial away ties in the conclusion of the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign.

After going on an impressive 10-match winning streak at home, Spurs recently suffered an unfortunate 2-1 loss against Pretoria Callies at the Athlone Stadium in their most recent league fixture.

The run helped Spurs climb to the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table and are currently level on points (47) with Casric Stars, who occupy second spot on the log.

Now though, Spurs will take on JDR Stars at the Soshanguve Giant Stadium on April 1, which will be the first of three crucial away ties toward the end o f the campaign.

Thereafter, the Urban Warriors will take on Venda Football Academy and La Masia in must win games as the club seek automatic promotion to the PSL.
