Cupido & Moosa – Spurs’ impressive goal scoring duo

As Cape Town Spurs lead the way at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table, the Urban Warriors have been boosted by the goal scoring exploits set by Ashley Cupido and Therlo Moosa.

Cape Town Spurs  and Polokwane City are currently the top scorers in the  2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign (34) as Cupido and Moosa continue to shine on a consistent basis. 

Cupido leads the way as the MFC top goalscorer so far, with 14 efforts to his name. Also, the talented forward scored the first goal in games on 10 occasions. 

As for Moosa, the elusive forward often showcased his quality this season, whether it be as a starter or from the bench. Moosa got his name on the scoresheet in the club’s recent 2-1 defeat against Pretoria Callies and took his tally to seven for the campaign.

Together, the pair scored 21 of the Urban Warriors’ 34 goals in the league so far.
