The Urban Warriors’ goal getting trio

As Cape Town Spurs march on in their pursuit of promotion to the PSL, the Urban Warriors have been boosted by the goal scoring exploits of Ashley Cupido, Therlo Moosa and Boitumelo Radiopane.

Spurs currently occupy top spot in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, following a crucial 2-0 victory over Platinum City Rovers at Athlone Stadium last week.

In getting his name on the scoresheet, Therlo Moosa took his tally to 10 goals for the campaign. As a prolific goal scorer during his time in the lower divisions of South African football, Moosa’s  IQ in the 18-yard area has greatly benefited the Urban Warriors this season.

Despite missing a large chunk of the 2022/23 campaign, Boutumelo Radiopane swiftly added his name to the list of top scorers this season after making his way back from injury. With seven goals in 18 games so far, the powerful attacker often scored a number of important goals along the way.

As the top scorer this season, Ashley Cupido has proven his case as being one of the best up-and-coming strikers in South African football at the moment. Scoring 14 goals in 26 games, Cupido has been in fine form throughout the campaign.
