‘Shaun has his own story to write’

Cape Town Spurs CEO Alexi Efstathiou believes that coach Shaun Bartlett has his own story to write after guiding the Urban Warriors to PSL promotion at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Despite facing the tough task of gaining promotion via the PSL play-offs, Bartlett and co managed to go unbeaten during the gruelling mini-tournament.

After penning a new two-year deal with the Urban Warriors, Efstathiou praised Bartlett’s drive to be a successful mentor.

“Shaun has done an incredible job and we believe he can continue to do so,” Efstathiou said.

“When the drive in a person for success comes within, then it is inevitable that the goal will be reached. Shaun has his own story to write as a coach, we are giving him the platform to do so.”
