Cupido – Our goal getting speedster

In what has been a phenomenal campaign for Ashley Cupido, we take a look at some impressive numbers and statistics from our star striker.

The 22-year-old has been a top performer during the 2022/23 campaign and spearheaded the Urban Warriors attacking line with aplomb.

Cupido ended the 22/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship as the league’s top goal scorer with 15 efforts to his name.

With Cupido set to face some of the PSL’s leading attackers next season, the forward outscored Peter Shalulile (12) Khanyisa Mayo (12) and Monnapule Saleng (11), who ended the 22/23 DStv Premiership campaign as the top three goal scorers.

Cupido also recorded a top speed of 36.96 km/h, which earned him the record for being the fastest player last season.
