‘Hard work starts now’

Cape Town Spurs coach Shaun Bartlett has reiterated his desire to do well in the 2023/24 DStv Premiership and is hoping to emulate the home form showcased in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season.

After guiding the Urban Warriors to top flight football, the Urban Warriors mentor is ready to mix it up with some of the best teams in the land.

Bartlett mentioned that hard work starts now as the team begin their pre-season preparations.

“For us it’s important to stabilize in the first season,” Bartlett said.

“Home form will again be important for us to get the necessary points to secure our status for the DStv Premiership.

“We all know the hard work starts now, for myself, the technical team and the players that we will be bringing in along with the core players that we kept from last season.”
