In preparation for the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season, coach Shaun Bartlett has reiterated the need for the club to improve on all fronts.
With pre-season in full swing, Bartlett revealed that he has been fully focused on the upcoming campaign. After gaining promotion to South Africa’s topflight, Bartlett mentioned that the club got back to work as soon as possible.
“Following promotion, we had a very short turnaround before we started pre-season,” Bartlett said.
“From myself as the head coach, not much time to have a holiday or a break because we had to start our preparation and getting a team together, looking at trialists for the upcoming season which we started on the third of July.
“We kept the core of the team, which was important, but the players realized that once we achieved that promotion that we are on a different level
“Everything needs to be better as individuals, as a club, as a team and that is what we’ve been working on in the last couple of weeks.”
