Bartlett: ‘We’re looking forward to the DStv Prem’
Cape Town Spurs coach Shaun Bartlett believes the Urban Warriors are raring to go as the 2023/24 DStv Premiership draws ever closer.
The Urban Warriors will travel to the province of Mpumalanga for their first 23/24 DStv Premiership encounter, where they will take on TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on the 6th of August.
Reflecting on the tie, Bartlett mentioned that the entire club is looking forward to mixing it up with some of the best teams in the land this season.
“Looking forward to it, mixed emotions, a little bit of excitement to be back into topflight football,” Bartlett said.
“A little bit of nerves obviously from ourselves, from players. We’re looking forward to the first game come the 6th of August, we will be ready and prepared for whatever we’re going to face in Galaxy.
“As a club, from the juniors to the first team everybody’s excited and looking forward to the upcoming season.”
