Bartlett: ‘It’s time to bounce back’
Coach Shaun Bartlett and company aim to get back to winning ways in the DStv Premiership this weekend, as the Urban Warriors prepare to take on Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
After an unfortunate 2-0 defeat to Spurs in the most recent league encounter, Spurs will now shift their focus to a much more familiar foe.
Speaking ahead of the tie, coach Bartlett has reiterated the need to get back to winning ways, beginning with the clash against Rise & Shine.
“It’s time now for us to bounce back,” Bartlett said.
“We had 10 days to prepare for this game and Polokwane is obviously a team that got promoted with us.
“So we see this game as a mini-league game as these are the teams we need to get points against in order to stabilize our goal of staying in the Premiership.
“The players are looking sharp and confident, we will go with a different approach, a lot more energy and put pressure on them as the home team, hopefully we come away with the points.”
