Cape Town Spurs to lock horns with TS Galaxy

Cape Town Spurs will be taking on TS Galaxy in the DStv Premiership on Sunday afternoon at the Athlone Stadium. Kick-off is at 15:30 CAT.

The Urban Warriors’ last outing in the league ended in an impressive 3-1 win against AmaZulu and the team will be looking to replicate that form in their next fixture.

Despite the less than desirable position on the log, Spurs are marching on and look forward as they continue their journey in the South African top-flight.

Galaxy are currently in decent form, having won their last match in the league 3-1 against Golden Arrows.

Boitumelo Radiopane is currently being integrated back into the squad following his lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a long-term injury and head coach Ernst Middendorp is happy with his progress.

“Is really something where I can see that he wants to contribute, he wants to help us, chasing and despite he’s by far not in a way where you can say ‘wow, he’s now fit or 100% percent level’, not at all,” said Middendorp in a press conference.

“But impressive how under these circumstances he did it.”
