Known for his top speed, Ashley Cupido is a South African football player who plays as a forward for Cape Town Spurs. Cupido established himself in the first time that avoided relegation to the Second Division two years ago, and was also crucial in the team contending for promotion to the DStv Premiership. 

He received his first international cap in 2022, as he played in a 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Comoros. He also played in the COSAFA Cup this season and featured in the first match against Zimbabwe.

Currently, he is a favourite in the starting lineup and has started frequently under coach Ernst Middendorp.
